The Sky Computing Architecture has been defined to enable the "convenience" of consuming business-oriented features in flexible and cost-effective manners anywhere. The primary focus is on fulfilling business needs.
Sky Computing is a business-oriented computing! It shifts the focus from cloud deployment models, such as hybrid, private, public, etc. (see NIST)to the convenience of providing reliable and advanced computing as part of a distributed mesh platform that satisfies a broad range of demanding business needs.
It is all about a superior user experience with the Sky Computing platform's capabilities that is fulfilled by flexibility, automation, optimization, and security.
The architecture of Sky Computing is an advancement or abstraction of known cloud computing topologies, such as private, public, hybrid, community, and other cloud arrangements.
It is a form of cloud computing mesh defined to provide the best arrangement for computing resources enablement with the most flexibility, security, and resilience all at the most effective cost of deployment and operations.
The architecture diagram represents Portable Compute Nodes that consist of devices set up in a cluster configuration and that provide computing and storage capabilities. The Zero Trust Cybersecurity Zone provides the protection of the resources.
The consuming clients access computing resources either within a secure LAN or over the Internet connectivity. The integration via a high throughput WIFI connectivity is available with external parties, providing various services, including AWS, Azure, Google, and others.

Our platform strategy is based on advanced state-of-the-art laptop computers set up in a cluster configuration.
The connectivity and bandwidth are critical for setting a portable cluster of computing devices in a LAN configuration, such as EUROCOM Raptor X17 or Sky Z7 R2, for example, or any computing units that will be deployed as per customers' preference.
2.5Gbit available on board can be expanded by adding 2x TB4 ports. FiberLAN is supported on Eurocom computers via TB4 ports. There are 2x TB4 ports on Raptor X17
The Figure shows the Eurocom laptop-based Multi-Machine compute cluster and corresponding computing unit specifications.

Sky Computing provides laptop-based High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters that are collections of many separate servers (computers), called nodes, which are connected via a fast interconnect.
Each of the HPC clusters includes the following set of foundational components:
- GPU nodes to run computations on CPU cores and on a Graphical Processing Unit
- A network switch to connect all nodes
AI & ML support platform strategy
Our platform strategy in support of AI & ML operations is the clustering of portable computing devices to provide flexibility, resilience, security, and scalability. That enables a rapid deployment that may include a limited configuration, and next pending the resources demand it can be quickly scaled, as needed to support more computing power, and an increased number of users or transactions.
